Founded in 2013, and originally known as Southern Clinical Trials Waitemata , we have operated on the North Shore of Auckland – New Zealand’s largest city for 10 years.
Be part of our next health innovation study to help advance medical knowledge and patient care.
People aged 60 years or older with a history of urinary tract infection (UTI) are at an increased risk of developing a bloodstream infection caused by the E. coli bacteria.
We are continually exploring a wide range of health therapeutic areas in which we can discover new and improved ways to enhance you and your families quality of life. Volunteer and assist with improving the health of future generations.
You may have access to treatments not yet available to the public, have regular medical treatment at no cost to you, and be helping develop treatments of the future.
Clinical Trials are a research tool for advancing medical knowledge and patient care. This involves research with study volunteers (also called participants) that is intended to add to medical knowledge.
Participants receive specific treatments according to the study protocol. The protocol sets out the detailed process and design of the study, the treatment(s) to be used and the measurements that will be required.
Studies vary in length from up to 6 months and some can be several years depending on the therapeutic area and study design. An initial Clinic visit may take up to 1.5 - 2 hours, with follow-up visits that are typically between 30 - 60 minutes.
Participants generally come in for regular clinic visits. Some trials require more doctor visits than would be normal for an illness or your condition. A description of what’s expected in the study will be provided to you before your first visit.
Feel free to ask us anything and our team will get back to you as soon as they can.
